Model Idol Combi: there's always that first date

[ Makoto had heard it on the highest authority (Miki) that girls should always be fashionably late to their dates. It left the guy 'frothing with desire', or something like that. And she'd dwelt on it, she really had, even as she sifted through her closet for the sixth time.

Makoto has always been Makoto, though, and that meant she didn't feel right purposely taking her time. It's why she's waiting near the entrance-- has been waiting for ten minutes with the long black skirt and the white shirt with the artfully placed frills and the red heels that click so cutely when she walks. It's a far cry from the jeans and sweatshirts she usually runs around in.

But she'd like to think it's not bad. ]

[ things like heights and speed don't scare her, no. She'll get all sorts of freaked if they hit up the haunted house, though.

But for now, she's fine holding the map like this, blinking up at him before she drops her eyes back to the paper. ]

There's a couple right by the food... maybe after lunch?

[Aaaand they're probably near the front now, so let's say they're getting on the ride. Kise will help her in of course, with an 'after you' before getting on himself.]

[ he gets a grateful smile in a return and a tap to his hat. ]

I hope it won't fall off...

Huh? [He fixes his hat, lowering it a bit more.] Oh, this? I don't think it'll fall off, I made sure it wouldn't before I came.

Well, I'll try to catch it if it does! But I think we're set, then!

[ and she's still so excited. ]

[And that excitement is infectious, so he's pretty much forgotten the deal with the hat and enjoys the ride.

Which means he's laughing throughout the entire thing, getting even more excited at the big drop.

Predictably, his hat goes missing after that.]

[ of course it does. Makoto also insisted on sitting near the front, so she's not exactly dry after that.

But wow is she beaming. ]

That was amazing!

[So is he, and he's not exactly dry either. He takes his sunglasses off, not aware that his hat is missing. So much for disguising himself.]

It was even better than it looked! Can we go on it again?

[Even though they're all wet?]

Okay no, but to be fair, he thinks he still has a hat on.]

Ah-- [He shoves his sunglasses back on, turning to look in the water like the hat will float back to him.

... Let's ask the ride operator. I'm sure they've had stuff like this happen before.

Uh, if we do that it'll take too long to get another ride in. It's fine, I'll buy another one later as an apology.

[He'll probably have to buy another one to avoid the fangirls anyway.]

[jitensha]

[ there's a pause, and then her eyes take on a brighter light of determination. ]

Hold my place in line for a second-- I'll be right back!

[ and she's off yet again. Without borrowing his jacket, but first things first. ]

Eh? Wait, Makocchi--

[... She's like a sprinter in those heels. There's not much he can do but wait like she told him to.]

... You didn't take my jacket.

[Even as he finishes his sentence lamely.]

[ it's warm enough outside! True to her word, though, Makoto doesn't take long at all. She's not gone for more than three minutes before she's back, not even out of breath and carrying a black hat with her. ]

Here... I asked one of the operators to keep an eye out for it, but he said I could have this one for the time being. I guess they fish out a lot of them every day!

I think you could probably make anything look good. [ she's still smiling anyway. ] But you're right, black's a good color on you.

Thanks, I think so too! [Kise shut up.] I think the photographer agrees, because last time he kept on putting me in dark clothing even though there was this cool shirt in a lighter colour out for me to try.
