Model Idol Combi: there's always that first date

[ Makoto had heard it on the highest authority (Miki) that girls should always be fashionably late to their dates. It left the guy 'frothing with desire', or something like that. And she'd dwelt on it, she really had, even as she sifted through her closet for the sixth time.

Makoto has always been Makoto, though, and that meant she didn't feel right purposely taking her time. It's why she's waiting near the entrance-- has been waiting for ten minutes with the long black skirt and the white shirt with the artfully placed frills and the red heels that click so cutely when she walks. It's a far cry from the jeans and sweatshirts she usually runs around in.

But she'd like to think it's not bad. ]

Wh-- [ she's really, really glad that it's harder to see just how red she's turning when it's already this dark-- but the way her palm grows warmer might give her away. ]

No! I was [ inexplicably ] surprised, but I really liked it!

[Ehe, it does, and he doesn't mind if that laughter is any indication. He's just as glad that the dark is making it harder to see that he's blushing. Just a little okay.]

That's good! It's my first time kissing someone on the ferris wheel so I was kind of nervous.

No way! [ this really is shocking news, apparently. ] You seemed so confident, I thought for sure that you'd done it before!

Nope, you're the first Makocchi! [So proud of himself.] Though if I seemed confident, it's because I've been listening in on some girls in my class!

[jitensha]

[ ... funny, that's usually how Makoto keeps up-to-date on the girly stuff. She looks impressed, though. And maybe-- no, definitely happy. ]

Aah, it's not that! I'm just really happy I was the first one.

[ she reaches out, closing her arms around the bear with an affectionate squeeze. Really, she's not sure where she'll be able to fit him in the office, but she'll try.

She smiles now, warmly. ]

It was the best!

[And he smiles right back. No regrets, yepp. Following his instincts and asking her out was a good thing, he's sure of it.]

By the way, how are you getting home? I can't have you go around like that without some help.
