Model Idol Combi: there's always that first date

[ Makoto had heard it on the highest authority (Miki) that girls should always be fashionably late to their dates. It left the guy 'frothing with desire', or something like that. And she'd dwelt on it, she really had, even as she sifted through her closet for the sixth time.

Makoto has always been Makoto, though, and that meant she didn't feel right purposely taking her time. It's why she's waiting near the entrance-- has been waiting for ten minutes with the long black skirt and the white shirt with the artfully placed frills and the red heels that click so cutely when she walks. It's a far cry from the jeans and sweatshirts she usually runs around in.

But she'd like to think it's not bad. ]

It'd be nice if you could do that every morning as part of a wake-up routine! It really gets you energetic.

[ ... yep she couldn't be more chipper, though the second time around, she's a tad wobbly for the first few steps. They're dizzying things, coasters. ]

[So long as she's not about to trip... He'll catch her if she does though.]

Right after a morning run? I guess it would get you pumped up, but it's not like you can find one lying around.

Probably not... [ she looks a little disappointed, though the look soon vanishes as her pace evens out. ] But I guess that's what makes it a treat!

Exactly~ Makocchi's really good at keeping the mood up! [Something else to be thankful for.] So what did you want to do now? Want to go on one more time?

[jitensha]

Actually, do you mind taking a detour for the game stands? We can always come back to this, but playing's easier while the light's still good.

[ex_doubly406]

Ah, sure, we can get something to eat too.

[He turns in the direction of the game stands, but he'll keep letting her lead him for now.]

[jitensha]

[ she'll rummage for the map then, so no hand-holding while she's unfolding it and studying it intently while they're walking. Thankfully, she's got a good enough sense of direction or balance that she isn't colliding with anybody. ]

They're really close to each other... which one did you want to do first?

[Oh good, though he'll kind of hover behind because even if she's a good runner in heels, tripping in heels is probably not fun.]

Hmm, maybe games? It's better to eat after you've used up some energy. [As if they haven't been using a ton of energy already.] But it's your choice today so I'm okay with whatever!

[jitensha]

[ Makoto lifts her eyes from the map, coming to a stop long enough to lift an arm up and back and bump his forehead with her fist. ]

I want you to have fun, too! Games are a good idea.

[Ow.

No not really, it didn't hurt, but he'll rub the spot anyway as he keeps up that same distance between them.]

I don't think I said anything wrong though, I meant it when I said you're the princess today!

[jitensha]

Then, as the princess, I royally decree-- [ with the arrogant tone and everything; she's very good at impersonating Iori, it seems. ] that we'll both have a say in how things go today!

You're not making this easy for me. I guess I have no choice then.

[ guys, this is about playing games. ]

[However, before she can say anything about that, he's taken a hold of her shoulders and starts pushing her toward wherever he thinks the games are.]

But an order's an order! Let's go!

I'm going, I'm going!

[ this is the most romantic date ever. Getting guided by the shoulders over to the game booths. ]

[So romantic, what girl wouldn't be swooning.

But okay no, things will take a more romantic turn as when they get there, the first thing Kise says is:]

Which one do you want? I'll get any prize for you.

[jitensha]

Eh-- any? [ but oh no all the stuffed animals are REALLY CUTE... cue an indecisive fluster. ]

Yep, any! Just name it!

[He'll wait! Though he's obviously raring to go.]

[jitensha]

Then... [ and she finally points at the giant white fluffy teddy bear gracing one of the stands. ] That one! My other one's probably lonely at the office.

Ooh, the bear? That's cute!

[He'll be making his way over there, not a care in the world. I mean, this is him he'll probably get it no problem right? Right.

Aw yeah, time to show off.]

[jitensha]

[ don't show off too much and earn yourself another fanclub, Kise. ]

[ex_doubly406]

[But this is what he does??? It's standard Kise behaviour to show off.

And luckily for them, the game doesn't involving dancing. It's your standard darts and balloon game that Kise's already paying for.]

Alright, just watch! I'll get it in one try!

[jitensha]

Okay! You can do it, Ryota-kun!

[ not that he needs the support, but she can't help it. ]

[Out of habit he throws one of his fanservice smiles her way before focusing on the balloons, not realizing that he'd even done it.

But okay, the balloon yes. Different from basketball obviously, but he's fairly sure he can manage to hit the correct balloons for the grand prize. At least he's watched enough people throwing darts to know how to throw them.]

[ ah, the fanservice smile. Never fails to make a girl's knees go weak. Or, in Makoto's case, it never fails to make her thoughtful, even as she smiles as she watches him take aim. He looks a little formidable. ]
