Model Idol Combi: there's always that first date

[ Makoto had heard it on the highest authority (Miki) that girls should always be fashionably late to their dates. It left the guy 'frothing with desire', or something like that. And she'd dwelt on it, she really had, even as she sifted through her closet for the sixth time.

Makoto has always been Makoto, though, and that meant she didn't feel right purposely taking her time. It's why she's waiting near the entrance-- has been waiting for ten minutes with the long black skirt and the white shirt with the artfully placed frills and the red heels that click so cutely when she walks. It's a far cry from the jeans and sweatshirts she usually runs around in.

But she'd like to think it's not bad. ]

[ these kids, indeed. Makoto's bangs are now clinging to her forehead and she's yet to stop dripping, but from the way she's grinning, it's like she doesn't feel it at all. ]

It's because he's kind of soaking wet and so is the jacket. Treat Her Like A Princess Plan is in a bit of bind with that, damn.]

[Somehow, he manages to cut himself off. They're wet and if they go on it now, they might catch a cold because of all the wind. Giving Makoto a cold on their first date doesn't sound very appealing.]

I mean, we can get some cotton candy!

If you're okay with getting sticky... or maybe you're better at eating it than I am.

[He's taking her hand again, leading her over to where the food stands are supposed to be according to their map.]

[ she manages to suppress the blush this time, and thankfully, neither one of them is Azusa, or they would have ended up somewhere else entirely.

As it stands, they make it in one piece and in good time, while Makoto's still pondering this mysterious cotton candy trick. ]

That's right, it was back when I was just getting started. What was it again... I'm pretty sure it was for an ad somewhere...

Cotton candy sales probably went through the roof, too.

[ ... says the one now happily chowing down. It's no longer as careful, so odds are that she'll get some on her face, but it's good. ]

But he's noticed she's let some of the cotton candy hang around her chin despite learning his 'trick', and gets out one of the napkins he took to offer it to her.]

Maybe if you found the ad-- oh, thanks... [ that's a little embarrassing, but she smiles and dips her head gratefully as she accepts the napkin and dabs at the general area. ]

You're welcome. [That was kind of cute of her. She really likes food huh.] I'd have to ask my manager for that then.

Oh that reminds me, I saw your toothpaste commercial the other day! It's got a really refreshing feel to it, I almost got one myself!

[ she's not Miki or Takane, but she can appreciate it well enough.

... And oh, she's got to grimace a little at that. ]

I-I'm glad-- I mean, that's what it was meant for!
