General Merida stuff awwyeah
So here's how it goes down! You tag with a location in the subject (DunBroch, New Jersey, Space, etc.) and you're free to come up with a scenario or leave it blank, in which case I will do my best to come up with one!
Come at me, bros.
Come at me, bros.
DunBroch nothing needs to make sense
If that someone wasn't Minato.
But Minato is Minato.
So Minato is asleep, sprawled out in the way somewhere, entirely unaware that a) he's in the way, and b) he's not in Japan anymore.
Don't trip, Merida.]
that is fine too
It's the Scottish Clydesdale that nearly trampled him, halted only by the horse's common sense that this was most definitely not part of the usual path, and Merida's sense of alertness. ]
Easy, laddie! [ she's quick to call to the horse, pulling on the reins to get him to back up-- both to keep the boy un-stomped on, and to get a better look at him. ]
... Is he dead, d'you think?
no subject
blinks placidly.]
...I don't think so...Last I checked, anyway.
no subject
One question answered, then. Next: who are you, and what're y'doing here?
[ because those clothes? Not Scottish at all. ]
no subject
Oh...I'm sorry for startling you.
[...except now he's realizing he has no idea why he's here, and he looks around curiously.]
...um. I don't actually know, to be honest.
[The fact that he can deliver that with a straight face is amazing.]
some street in vagueville
and they're kind of creepy for some reason, should your instincts be active. and this being terrence, he just... grabs a stranger (merida) and asks for her opinion because stranger danger isn't really a thing for him. ]
Hey, don't you think there's something off about these statues?
[ they just look like bronze old men in suits, really... ]
no subject
What... d'you mean? And mind lettin' go of me?

no subject
[ the statue could be looking directly at you, merida.
or it could be the trick of the eye.
your call. ]
no subject
[ you're getting a skeptical look. As is that statue, but not because she thinks it's going to spring at her or anything. ]

DunBroch
Fortunately, it's still dark out. Unfortunately, Setz can tell that's not going to be the case for much longer—the day is coming.
And for a vampire, that's very, very bad.
So yes. Setz has no time to wonder how he got transported here and is instead running through the forest, claws tearing through anything that might get in his path as he searches for somewhere that might serve as protection against the inevitable sunlight—]

She's also asleep, so that should spare him shrieking for three seconds. ]
no subject
Now, deal with potentially frightened human, or deal with the sunlight.
... He'll have to pick the human. Hopefully, she'll just stay asleep as he quietly approaches...]
no subject
And staring at him. ]
no subject
Ah—
[... His social skills are bad enough around acquaintances, let alone a complete (and human) stranger.]

Dunbroch because archery princesses
'Princess', Natalia thought very unkindly, was perhaps a stretch.]
Lady Merida. [Natalia demurely inclined herself, all smiles and elegant curtsies.]
I'm in your hands for the day. I have my mare saddled already, if you'd like to be off.
awwyeee
In short, Merida took one look at her and wanted to take off into the woods immediately.
But no, she had to be polite, and when Natalia curtsied, Merida gave her version of a demure nod. Which was more of a brief jerk of her chin. ]
Ach, c'mon then. I just hope your mare'll be able to keep up with the likes of Angus.
no subject
Oh, haha, you mean your, ah... [Natalia searched for an apt descriptor as Angus himself came into view. 'Plowhorse' was probably not acceptable.] ...charger? He's quite proud-looking.
[Certainly no fleet-footed destrier like her own more delicately-built animal, but Natalia was aware that it wasn't given to all ladies to be as keen in the saddle as she.] I'm certain Fiona will manage. Won't you, girl?
[Fiona's ears pricked with interest as her mistress swung up and settled. One hoof pawed the ground restlessly. Natalia gave Merida a practiced, graceful smile.] After you.
no subject
[ Merida wasn't her mother. Merida couldn't smile her way through politely insulting visitors, and if Natalia felt as though underestimating the Clydesdale and underestimating DunBroch's princess was a grand idea, then fine.
In one quick jump, she'd gone from the ground to a foot in the stirrup and onto Angus' back. She was still swaying when she nudged the horse into a thundering run with a joyous yell.
Natalia could surely keep up. ]

dunbroch! also fashionably late because.... well, it's yuka-tan.
[If this is Tartarus, Yukari definitely doesn't want it to change anymore. The scenery is beautiful -- lush trees, green everywhere. And even if she did have to keep fighting Shadows here, she can't see herself minding it too much.
Tartarus has never done this before; but this isn't the first time they've been split up, so she isn't panicking . . . just yet.
This is the first time she's been cut off from her support, though. No response from Fuuka yet, and she's never let them stay in the dark this long.]
Whoa . . .
[-- So where the heck is this??
With her bow in hand and a quiver of arrows on her back, she continues exploring by herself. It doesn't seem that dangerous; there aren't any shadows, but as they've learned in the past, that isn't necessarily a good thing. She keeps a watchful eye out.]
no subject
... For now, though the look on Merida's face when she parts a clump of bushes in her hunt for a stray arrow and sees a person instead isn't exactly warm and friendly.
Actually, she shrieks a little and stumbles backwards, reaching for her bow but not actually drawing it yet. ]
Crivens--
no subject
It's a little hard to ignore that! She thought she'd heard something in the bushes, but she hadn't thought much of it until she heard a voice. Turning and reaching over her shoulder for an arrow, she faces Merida, just in time to see her fall. She doesn't draw her bow either, but she does gasp, remaining on her guard.
My god, this girl's hair --]
H- Hey! Who are you?
[Sounding a bit defensive. Yeah, she's quickly realizing that wherever this is, it definitely isn't that creepy tower she's grown to hate.]
no subject
That neither of them are actually firing is a promising sign, though. ]
Merida. Y'mind answerin' the same question?
