Model Idol Combi: Hair

[ it's rare that she can garner enough time away from a packed schedule and her own school hours to drop by Kaijou, but even if it's just a practice match, Makoto likes to faithfully attend what she can. She's always liked basketball, so growing closer to Kise had only made that fondness stronger. It's fun to watch them get into the game, and it's fun to lose herself cheering for them.

But it's warmer today than it's been all week, and with the hat crammed over her head to hide her identity (she so optimistically felt), it was doing little to cool her head off. Strands were starting to stick to her neck.

... In a sense, it's a happy realization, that her hair was growing longer by the day, but for now, it was a little bit troubling. Still, she waits until the court's cleared out, enough of Kise's squealing crowd dissipating to allow her to sweep her hat off and try to salvage her hair.

It's a shame she can't see what she's doing. ]

[Since he's pretty sure she doesn't live close to the dance studio.]

I've got an hour, but that's probably not a bad idea... sorry to drag you around.

[So he says, though he's a little disappointed that his basketball time got cut short.]

[ she flashes him an apologetic smile and reaches up to readjust his cap. ]

Ah, can we? Okay then, pass please!

[This probably gives him away.]

[ ... he's like a puppy; it makes her grin as she lobs the ball in his direction. ]

[A puppy who jumps up and does an alley-oop. Look he's always wanted to try it out okay.

He retrieves the ball after, tucking it under his arm to give her a thumbs up.]

[ she gives him a victory sign in return; he gets more and more impressive by the day, doesn't he? ]

I can't take all the credit, but did you see how high I jumped? [He's packing up so that he can leave with her, but his mind's obviously still on the court.] I'll try it during practice too, the timing might've been off just a little.

If you can get the timing down, that's going to make for an incredible move! It was already pretty smooth, and you didn't have a lot of jump preparation...

[ look at her, she's so enthusiastic about this. ]

Right? It doesn't take me long to reach the height I need, so if I get there a little faster...

[He's just as enthusiastic too! And this is probably the entire content of their conversation until they reach the studio.]

[ which is fine, because Makoto at least knows sports, and she's perfectly capable of holding up her end.

Until they reach the studio and she regretfully has to stop talking about alley-oops and breaking through a defensive guard. ]

No problem. [He leans down so he can give her a peck on her cheek.] I had fun too.

[ she beams(and reddens), leaving a kiss of her own on his cheek before he can straighten up. One hand taps the top of her head, then points to his. ]

Ah-- [He'd actually forgotten he'd had the hat on.] But we won't see each other for a week, is that okay?

That's fine! I've got a lot on standby, and that should help you get back without a whole lot of fuss.

[He pouts, getting a little huffy for no reason other than that he's become incredibly spoiled.]
