Model Idol Combi: Hair

[ it's rare that she can garner enough time away from a packed schedule and her own school hours to drop by Kaijou, but even if it's just a practice match, Makoto likes to faithfully attend what she can. She's always liked basketball, so growing closer to Kise had only made that fondness stronger. It's fun to watch them get into the game, and it's fun to lose herself cheering for them.

But it's warmer today than it's been all week, and with the hat crammed over her head to hide her identity (she so optimistically felt), it was doing little to cool her head off. Strands were starting to stick to her neck.

... In a sense, it's a happy realization, that her hair was growing longer by the day, but for now, it was a little bit troubling. Still, she waits until the court's cleared out, enough of Kise's squealing crowd dissipating to allow her to sweep her hat off and try to salvage her hair.

It's a shame she can't see what she's doing. ]

I can't take all the credit, but did you see how high I jumped? [He's packing up so that he can leave with her, but his mind's obviously still on the court.] I'll try it during practice too, the timing might've been off just a little.

If you can get the timing down, that's going to make for an incredible move! It was already pretty smooth, and you didn't have a lot of jump preparation...

[ look at her, she's so enthusiastic about this. ]

[ which is fine, because Makoto at least knows sports, and she's perfectly capable of holding up her end.

Until they reach the studio and she regretfully has to stop talking about alley-oops and breaking through a defensive guard. ]

No problem. [He leans down so he can give her a peck on her cheek.] I had fun too.

[ she beams(and reddens), leaving a kiss of her own on his cheek before he can straighten up. One hand taps the top of her head, then points to his. ]

Ah-- [He'd actually forgotten he'd had the hat on.] But we won't see each other for a week, is that okay?

That's fine! I've got a lot on standby, and that should help you get back without a whole lot of fuss.

Ah, but don't kiss it or anything if you get lonely!

Hah?? Please don't make it sound like I have some kind of weird hat fetish! Geez, this thing isn't nearly as cute as you.

[He pouts, getting a little huffy for no reason other than that he's become incredibly spoiled.]

[ and she laughs, because it's adorable. ]

Just making sure! I'd hate to lose out to a hat.

[Then he leans down again, a little closer than he should be.]

Do I have to prove it?

[ she immediately colors, waving her hands to negate any doubts. ] I-it's okay, I believe you!

[But he backs off, laughing at getting the upper hand.]

Then I'm glad, I can't have an affair with Hat-chan when I know she's yours.

[He stops her, making sure she's not moving before giving her ponytail a light tug with his hands.]

There, it won't come loose now.

... [ she reaches up to test it, then laughs, embarrassed. She forgot it was there, too. ] Thanks! I'll make sure to take care of it!

[He almost reaches out to ruffle her hair, but that would be counterproductive, so he taps her forehead instead.]
