W-well thank... thank you. [He's definitely starting to blush more, but finds his way onto a paved spot and folds into vehicle mode himself. Crisis averted!]

[His engine hums while he considers for a few moments.]

Around a couple blocks, and end here, maybe? Just make a big circle... well, rectangle?

[identity profile] avoidingfights.livejournal.com 2009-12-19 07:36 am (UTC)(link)
Awesome. On the count of three?

[identity profile] avoidingfights.livejournal.com 2009-12-19 07:45 am (UTC)(link)
All right. One... two... three! [And the Audi is off like a shot on three. He's still a speedy little bugger until he hits the curves.]

[That is awesome... and distracting. And Sideways is getting used to four-wheel driving again - little more difficult than getting back to the running. He fish-tails a bit on the corners, having to slow himself down to keep in control.]

[identity profile] avoidingfights.livejournal.com 2009-12-19 04:09 pm (UTC)(link)
[He manages not to crash, if only by virtue of deploying one of his saws for traction. He figures he won't be getting off easy, but he's not going to get reckless just to win. It's all for fun, after all. Though he does try to compensate for the ground he lost by speeding up on the straightaways.]

[He'd figured that Drift would have beat him by a longshot by now; he's pretty amazed that he's kept up. And really, Drift's probably the only one he wouldn't mind losing to. But he's still going to try to beat him back to the warehouse.

[identity profile] avoidingfights.livejournal.com 2009-12-20 03:51 am (UTC)(link)
[He actually squeaks a little when Drift puts on that speed, and revs himself up as fast as he dares go.]

[identity profile] avoidingfights.livejournal.com 2009-12-20 04:08 am (UTC)(link)
[Sideways is naturally a neurotic little thing; he's only concerned about over-taxing his systems. Any other day, he'd be gunning it. And losing to Drift isn't a mark against his pride, he thinks.]

[identity profile] avoidingfights.livejournal.com 2009-12-22 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
[He skids to a stop after crossing the line himself, though he shifts back and forth on his tires a little - almost a smile, if a car could actually manage it.] Oh, you're just bein' nice. And if there had been a few more turns, you would've left me in the dust.

[identity profile] avoidingfights.livejournal.com 2009-12-22 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
It's not. That... that was pretty much amazing, what you did. [Enamored of his drifting? Maybe a bit.]

[identity profile] avoidingfights.livejournal.com 2009-12-22 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
[If he was in base mode, he might have started bouncing at that.] Really? S-sure.

[identity profile] avoidingfights.livejournal.com 2009-12-22 05:10 am (UTC)(link)
Of course. One-hundred percent. I can wait for that.

[identity profile] avoidingfights.livejournal.com 2009-12-22 05:50 am (UTC)(link)
Hm. [He settles on his wheels, thinking.] 'M... not sure. I just don't know that I can sit around here while I wait.
