[ It is a relatively quiet day in the apartment of one Saga Laskaris- unless you were to wander into the kitchen. Then you would find all manner of things happening, dishes heaped up everywhere, and some very tantalizing smells coming from the sizzling skillets on the stove top. In the middle of it is Alabaster, in a simple t-shirt and jeans (and no shoes. Just socks), bustling back and forth, metallic arms zipping everywhere. ]

Not that I've ever looked at my internal organs, but I don't doubt that some of them have been taken by the clacks. I do know there's some steel plating on my skull... my heart has been fully claimed by the disease as well.

... You're getting on that plane and you are coming with me if I've got anything to say about it. It looks like your arms won't be a problem, but internal... I don't know how well blood will mix with oil...

I've got a rune I can use to suppress the reaction your arms might give off. But like I said, it's the internal part I'm concerned about. Our options are sort of limited there, and I really don't want to ask my grandfather.

Yes, I already told you I was coming-- and him, too, but that doesn't mean you can harass-- don't you dare say that to Mom, it's not like that!! [ pausing to listen, then frowning ] I'm doing fine. It hasn't taken a toll yet, and I've got at least half a year-- I get it, okay? I'll see you next week.
