[ It is a relatively quiet day in the apartment of one Saga Laskaris- unless you were to wander into the kitchen. Then you would find all manner of things happening, dishes heaped up everywhere, and some very tantalizing smells coming from the sizzling skillets on the stove top. In the middle of it is Alabaster, in a simple t-shirt and jeans (and no shoes. Just socks), bustling back and forth, metallic arms zipping everywhere. ]

The clacks, yes. It's one thing to have the disease- the odd plating or gear or rivets- but this? [ holds up an arm ] This is deliberate. This is the work of a God.

I failed, Saga. Grandfather Clock trusted me with a mission, and I failed. The only thing waiting for me back there is death- if not at the hands of the rebels, then at the hands of my God. He does not take failure lightly.

... Even so, I keep thinking that maybe, maybe I could redeem myself. Fix it all somehow. [ shrugs again ] It is that "maybe" that has me second-guessing my decision.
