[ WELP, Malik was lost. It was sort of embarrassing to think that he could become separated from a bunch of kids, but he at least had faith in their abilities to look after themselves. (Even if Asbel was... well, Asbel.)

These woods were totally unfamiliar, so there was nothing for it but to do his best to look for a sign of the others. ]

Alright, so this? This would be the ocean. Well, more specifically, this would be a pirate ship in the middle of the ocean. Despite the flag flying high and proud, the pirate ship in question hasn't done much pirating lately. That sort of happens when your captain ends up falling into the services of the god of death.

It's been quiet lately, though. On both the god of death and the pirating front- you'd think a lack of the former would give time for the latter, but it's not to be. So the Dead End Moon is left to cut surely through the waves, looking for all the world like she has a destination, when she really doesn't.

The captain of our intrepid yet aimless vessel is perched in the crow's nest, spyglass to one eye. He's looking for something, anything, because he's likely to catch cabin fever at this rate. ~~And we really don't need a musical number right now.~~ ]
