[ It is a relatively quiet day in the apartment of one Saga Laskaris- unless you were to wander into the kitchen. Then you would find all manner of things happening, dishes heaped up everywhere, and some very tantalizing smells coming from the sizzling skillets on the stove top. In the middle of it is Alabaster, in a simple t-shirt and jeans (and no shoes. Just socks), bustling back and forth, metallic arms zipping everywhere. ]

[ the next day dawns bright and-- still freezing, but a rune has been conquered, and one quarter-goddess is miraculously... still conscious.

Horribly embarrassed and horribly in pain while she's propped herself up against the front door, but still very much conscious! ]

[ For his own part, Alabaster had half-expected her to not be there when he woke up- the part where she's leaning on the front door in pain was new, though. ]

Saga-? [ he's up and dressed- well, half dressed. He doesn't have time to be embarrassed- rather quickly, and moving to her side ]

[ sitting her down then- and then looking kind of awkward. His eyes flick to her bracelet briefly ] The rune?

[ also glancing down at it and nodding ]

[ watching her for a moment, looking for her usual signs of exhaustion ] How are you feeling?

A little sore, and kind of like I just got smacked with a sledgehammer, but... [ she gives him a little smile ] I'm okay, Alabaster.

That's not exactly reassuring. [ smiles a little as well, and takes a seat next to her ]

[ hopefully he won't mind if she leans against him-- because she is ] How are you feeling?

I'm- [ that startles him a little, and there's a brief pause before he shifts a little a brings an arm around her shoulders ] I'm fine, Saga.

[ it's comforting. Warm. And she's definitely content there. ] It wasn't the easiest of situations you were dropped into.

[ well, he's definitely content here, too ] I've made my living dealing with difficult situations. This... somehow wasn't so bad.

[ well, for starters, she's struggling with herself for a good minute. And then seeming to reach a conclusion. ]
