RP > nostalgia strikes again

[ It is a relatively quiet day in the apartment of one Saga Laskaris- unless you were to wander into the kitchen. Then you would find all manner of things happening, dishes heaped up everywhere, and some very tantalizing smells coming from the sizzling skillets on the stove top. In the middle of it is Alabaster, in a simple t-shirt and jeans (and no shoes. Just socks), bustling back and forth, metallic arms zipping everywhere. ]

[ hesitating for a long moment, but she's too tired to argue, so she'll slowly walk over and take the offered spot. ]

What do you want me to talk about, exactly?

He already told you... that's enough, isn't it?

He told me what was going to happen, yes. However, he couldn't tell me how you felt about it.

There isn't really anything... it has to be done, so feeling bad about it won't help matters any. I'll just start to hesitate, and I can't do that. A lot of people could have their lives disrupted if I even start doubting this.

[ he is just... going to pull her into a hug ] You have every right to be.

[ she won't let herself cry, but she'll slowly wrap her arms around him and just-- hold on. ]

[ he'll sit there for as long as it takes- this isn't somewhere he thought he'd ever find himself, but he's slowly beginning to realize that this is exactly where he's supposed to be ]

... You don't have to come tomorrow. [ he's warm and comforting, so she's not letting go just yet. ]

That's never stopped me before.

[ tipping her head up just enough to give him a tiny smile. ] No... I guess it hasn't.

I just want you to understand- this isn't something you ever have to face alone. Not so long as I'm here.

... Guess you'd better stick around, huh?

Believe me, I have no intention of going anywhere.

Good. [ doing some shifting to make herself more comfortable ] You're growing on me.

The feeling is mutual, Saga.

... You should get some rest if we're going on a wild rune hunt.

So should you.

Yeah... probably shouldn't fall asleep on you.

[ he raises his eyebrows ] You do have an interesting habit of falling asleep wherever happens to be convenient.

Odd talent number... whichever one we're on. [ making a face at him and disentangling herself ]

I've lost count, to be honest. [ letting her go then ]

[ and ambling towards her room ] See you in the morning.
