[ It is a relatively quiet day in the apartment of one Saga Laskaris- unless you were to wander into the kitchen. Then you would find all manner of things happening, dishes heaped up everywhere, and some very tantalizing smells coming from the sizzling skillets on the stove top. In the middle of it is Alabaster, in a simple t-shirt and jeans (and no shoes. Just socks), bustling back and forth, metallic arms zipping everywhere. ]

[ Oh she had to go and say that- it's a painful reminder of what he's been trying not to think about this whole time. She may be out like a light, but he's going to hold her close for a long, long time and do something he hasn't done in years- cry. ]

[ and she will discover it eventually and snag some delicious food before retiring to the living room for happy fun times with note-taking/reading/research. And... quilt-sewing, because we all have our weird hobbies. ]

[ The sound of the door comes a few hours later, and Alabaster comes into the living room. He has to double-take when he sees her ] Good morning.

[ she grins up at him, raising a hand ] You look like you've seen a ghost.

...Though, speaking of seeing ghosts, I can see Duff now.

...! [ she's glancing at Duff to confirm this, and he'll be padding over to Alabaster and rubbing against his leg ] He'll be sad he won't be able to surprise you now.

Yes, well, he surprised me enough for a lifetime when he hopped onto my lap yesterday. [ but pets the kitty anyway ]
