[ pulling her knees to her chest with a calm smile ] When I was taken in, I was twelve, and somewhere in between levels Four and Five-- more powerful than a lower-level esper, but not too high, so a bit in the middle. Supervisor Tanizaki was the one who selected me to train. Not because I had potential, but because-- according to him-- I was the cutest one there. I guess you could say it began there.

I thought it was a little strange, too, but there was no denying that my powers grew stronger under his training, so I became Level Six fairly quickly. But at the same time, he was molding me to be polite, softspoken, obedient... I didn't want to disappoint him, so I did whatever it was he asked of me, but because I was unconsciously repressing how I really felt about it-- because I just wanted to help out the organization that had taken me in, my powers ended up blocked.

So what happened?

Kaoru-chan, Shiho-chan, and Aoi-chan made me realize what I was trying to suppress all along, and my powers came back. And then I... sort of lost my temper and, well, I became the "Wildcat"!
