Two worlds, one family--
[ It's strange to be in a world with not one set of memories from another world-- not two, but three, not that Otome can really discuss this with anyone. It's difficult enough, when she wakes up these days, and can't remember if she's in her own home, or her apartment. If she needs to call Fumi to check on preparations for the day, or...
But no. This is her world. And not a school day, so she's stuck trying to focus not on what she's missing or what she's lost, but on what lies ahead.
What that actually is, she doesn't know, but she's out and about today, and there's a strong breeze. Maybe today will be a good day for clearing her thoughts. ]

Very well then. I have no complaints.
[And then, as he waits for her, with more curiosity:]
Do you have more classes to teach today?
no subject
[ For the poor nervous souls. ]
no subject
[There's just an acknowledging noise at that, before he nods simply.]
Then I suppose waiting in your office is fine. [He can work on other things there.]

He could study some more, probably, but Leon's still a kid even if he does have a strong sense of study ethic--so he's not really that ready to delve right back into heavy medical textbooks. First, he pokes around at her book shelf and the various books there, and skims through some of them, until he gets bored of that.
And then he pokes around her desk curiously, even if he tries to stay away from anything that seems too private.
And then, he ends up... sitting back in the spinny chair. And spinning lightly back and forth, sprawled out a little. It's definitely not particularly elegant, but hey, nobody can see him anyway.]

That's my favorite thing to do, too.
no subject
Ah-- [um] Otome. You're back. [no shit
(he's embarrassed)]
no subject
[ Don't even deny, Leon. ]
no subject
N-no! I--have no idea what you're talking about!
no subject
no subject
[Sure, Leon.
CHANGING THE SUBJECT.]
How was class?

[all of those books and things... YEP HE'S READY.
And, as he reaches for his bag--]
What do you want for dinner?
[Wow, this is almost like normalcy.]
no subject
[ She'll have to get him to eat a salad, too. ]
no subject
That should be fine. We should have the ingredients already for something like that, so we don't have to stop by the market.
no subject
[ But she's beckoning to him-- home we go. ]
no subject
Well, that is...
[...]
I don't mind it. [that means he enjoys it.] It is something I can do, even in a place like this. [Which has been quite the adjustment period, really, so he appreciates anything that doesn't make him feel slow or behind.]

no subject
[Sort of. It...still helps to at least hear it, honestly.]
But even so, I'm also aware that I am sometimes still adjusting to this place.
[A few days ago it was the bus that threw him for a loop.]
But cooking is not complicated.
no subject
[ Please ask. ]
no subject
[Mostly.
It's somewhat that he just doesn't want to admit he has a bunch of questions still.]
Regardless, I am fine like this. [Being able to cook, being able to learn, and living with Otome--this is all fine.]
no subject
no subject
... Is that so...
[...Hm.]
I suppose I will have to take your word for it.
no subject
I can honestly say some of the natives have had more trouble.
[ Sorry, Daichi. ]

[aka he's stupidly hard on himself and is such a perfectionist.]
