[ it's a little after supper ends when brady finishes cleaning the mess hall, sticking his head out of the tent and looking left and right. it's been a week after he'd been helping cynthia in battle and the girl is clearly determined to uncover his secret, despite his numerous attempts to tell her to just let it go. girls are so persistent, geeze.

it's not like he needed her to thank him, anyway. it'd probably be super embarrassing too: one of the weakest members of the shepherds helping others instead of worrying about his own lack of skill with an ax is not something he wants everyone to associate with him. at least if he looked cooler, if he was stronger, maybe it'd be less awkward. unfortunately, he's doomed to looking like a thug forever. the struggle is real.

maybe he ought to get a mask like gerome. aren't all the girls crazy about him? something about being mysterious like the night? so he tries to channel that ("be gerome. i am the night. i am darkness."), carefully sneaking out of the tent and dashing over to his own, hoping he won't be noticed. ]

[ Its not that Rock hasn't seen something like a magicalgirl ttransformation sequence before, Orochi knows just how many magical and superhuman people he has met in his lifetime and all, but something about this whole set up just felt so... out of place. Because really. Really. Learning that Makoto being an teen idol high schooler that is also a magical girl? Is he living in a cartoon now? Actually, he lives in a video game, so same difference. ]

So... just a quick question. Do you seriously like transform and go through a naked process at the same time? Aren't you a little worried that the paparazzi would have a field day with you if you get caught?

[ Nyx Assassin takes great pride in his ability to cause terror. He's not a very nice person, but then again, he IS a monstrous, magically stealthy scarab whose sole purpose in life is to assassinate whoever his queen-goddess tells him to, and he's hard-wired to enjoy it. ]

Even worse, Haven is small; most people here are familiar enough with him to know that he won't kill them without cause (or at all, since they need all the help they can get to escape). So there goes the fear. Nyx Assassin's had to find other ways to entertain himself, and to keep his skills from rusting. ]

[ Personally speaking, Yayoi doesn't regret pushing herself, or insisting that she's totally fine with riding a rollercoaster with Rise, even despite her fear of heights and complete inexperience. Okay, so she was convinced that their car was going to rocket off into outer space and strand them up there forever, but still. She doesn't regret having done it. ]
