[ The residents of Casa de Rikku will get a rather rude awakening this morning in the form of Cliffjumper's Haunter freaking the hell out. Yes, Cliffjumper has magically vanished from his usual spot next to Rikku while everyone else was dead asleep. The Ghost pokémon seemed to be the first one to notice as he drifted through the wall of the bedroom.

The sudden appearance of a big red car in the front yard has also got Tanta a little startled. ]

[ His faceplates actually heat a little at that, but it's not an obvious thing. He lacks that pesky blood to color his cheeks. ]

I've always looked good in red. No reason I should stop.

It fits you! Though maybe you should try blue, just to see if it works, one day. It'd give Ironhide a shock, too.

Blue? I am so not used to being able to just... put on different colors.

D'you guys come pre-painted or do you get to pick one and then get stuck with it?

[A pause as she tries to decide if she needs to ask "how do you guys reproduce" before deciding it's not worth it]

Uh. Been red for as long as I can remember.

Cool! But, and maybe it's because I like clothes, but I really don't think I could handle being the same color all the time like that.

Eh, when you've been around as long as I have, I guess you just get used to it.

Couple thousand years? Maybe? It's hard to translate into human years.

Heh. I'm young for a Cybertronian, if you can believe it. When I say Ironhide is older than dirt, I do mean that.

Like, literally? He's literally older than dirt?

Probably. Not that I'm gonna just up and ask him. He'd get all grumpy on me.

I wonder if he's metal, too.

Ugh, he's going to get sand in his gears and I am not cleaning it out. I did that every day for ten years back home, cleaning up sandy salvaged machina.

I dunno what his fascination with the place is, really.

... And sand in your gears is so not fun.

I was the smallest growing up, so until I got Brother to let me lead a salvage ship crew, I was always getting sent in to clean out the tight spaces no one else could. It sucks.

I'm pretty sure you're not gettin' anywhere close enough to Ironhide's gears to clean anything. The guy likes his space.
