[It's night. And it's cold. Cold enough to feel it even through the walls of the police HQ. Snow is likely on the way, which the prototype ninja is looking forward to, honestly. He's never seen it before. But... That isn't why he's up and about right now.]

[He'd gotten the idea from PJ, of all of them. From some smart comment the power shovel had made. Regardless, it seems like a decent enough idea...]

[Except the little cans he's trying to carry are hotter than expected. Juggling them isn't easy. And doing so quietly is even harder. If his partner is still awake, the last thing he wants to do is enter their little room crashing and banging and dropping the surprise.]

[He nudges their door open with a wingtip instead, peeking in to see if he's alone, or if Shadowmaru has beaten him.]
