I know where he resides. It is simply a matter of getting there.

I suppose he lives in his own version of Asgard. That could be problematic.

Why am I on Midgard?

To defend it from those who would destroy it. People like my brother, Loki. He has attacked Earth twice now, and I feel somewhat responsible for what happened. And Earth needs defenders far more than Asgard does.

[kicksomeasgard]

[ He barks out a laugh- harsh, condescending. ] You are here to defend us? I will believe that when I see it.

[Thor just shrugs.]

I have been told that the activities of the Avengers have been well reported. It should not be that hard to verify my words.

It is of little concern to me what happens outside of my territory.

Then unless my duties with the Avengers take us into your territory, I suppose you will need to remain skeptical.
