let's do the rain thingy

[sagishi]

[ it's just pouring buckets today.

fuuka's probably just minding her own business, being a good person as she steps out of a building, and there's an extraordinarily gloomy-looking man lurking there, standing beneath the overhand. he's dressed like he's ready to go to a funeral -- not to attend, but to hold the ceremony, maybe.

he is, notably, not holding an umbrella.

he's wearing a grim look on his face, though he does notice that someone's exiting the building beside him. after what seems like a moment's consideration, he steps out of the way. like it's not second nature for him to be nice to people. (it isn't.) ]

[inquisitively]

[ that sure is a gloomy-looking man. With a look so dour that she doesn't want to disturb him, even, and Fuuka really does consider moving on with a quick nod and a polite smile.

Except that it's second nature for her to be nice to people, and she'd feel horrendously guilty if she didn't at least try to make sociable and concerned contact. So, clearing her throat, she clutches her still-folded umbrella close. ]

Sir, were you trying to go somewhere?

[sagishi]

[ interesting girl. most people would give him a wide berth just by virtue of his appearances, and kaiki gives fuuka a sideways glance, before looking back out to the rainy streets. he talks in a drawling deadpan: ]

Well, yes. Or rather, 'considering.' Considering going somewhere. Considering enduring this downpour. [ he heaves a low sigh. ] The lesson one should learn from this, I suppose, is to never trust the weather report.

[ it had said it wouldn't rain until later in the evening. ]

[inquisitively]

Unfortunately, it seems there's really no way to accurately predict the weather.

[ Not even as a navigator with a Persona who can sense literally everything else. ]
