Makotos gonna Makoto
[ She's endured various levels of teasing and embarrassing questions from her fellow idols for this moment. Azusa, at least, had been encouraging (and equally embarrassing when she'd insisted on doing fortune-telling for the day) and now Makoto surveys the set-up with a proud nod. A one-year anniversary was nothing to scoff at, and with her parents out of town for the weekend (something she suspected her mother had coordinated for certain reasons), it was the perfect time and place to invite her boyfriend over. Just for a night. But she's actually cooked (ramen and some other things involving chopped vegetables and several band-aids) and cleaned and there are non-scented candles (because her dad still decreed them unmanly) around and she is so bound and determined to make this good.
Worse comes to worst, she has a whole stack of movies they can power through.
Makoto waits outside her house now, clad in a longer black skirt and one of her favorite tops, white with frills down the middle. All right. She's got this.
Hopefully. ]

Well, it sounds perfect, honestly, but he's still a little nervous. He endures the good-natured ribbing from the team (especially Nagisa) and takes Gou's tips in mind (with a grain of salt) and prepares to head on over. Slacks and a blazer almost seem too casual considering they remind him of his school uniform, but going any dressier just felt silly, and thus he rolled with it as best he could.
But upon seeing her outside of her house as he arrives, a great deal of that nervousness melds away, because it's Makoto. He's just happy to see her, honestly, and so he's quick to step closer, smiling.]
Makoto-chan, hello!
[...and then he appears to realize that he has something in his hand (oh right) and offers them to her sheepishly--a bouquet of flowers tied with a pink ribbon, one of Gou's suggestions that he actually took into account.]
...It's good to see you.
