[ She hesitates for a moment, but only a moment, before nodding. How hard could it be, right? ]

[ She frowns a little, fiddling idly with the controller ] I can make it hover in place pretty well. Maybe I should just stick to that.

[ she's gone for a while. Almost too long, and then suddenly, her voice comes literally screaming over the comm: ]

[Ever seen a tank jump? It's not pretty. But a shriek was the last thing he expected.]

What--? What is it!

The trees! They--

[ the feed cuts suddenly, but not before Angel manages to somehow, desperately, send her location ]

[Regardless of confusion, the tank transforms, and rolls out toward her location.]

Oh, um, my name is Chihaya, if that helps. I'm just here to check up on the new arrivals.

[Maya has faith that Angel will manage just fine... either that or there will crazy hilarity in the form of a wild veering hovercraft first, and then things will be fine.

So she stops the vehicle, steps out from the driver's seat, and motions for Angel to take her place.]

Go ahead.

[ She climbs into the driver's seat with a little apprehension, taking a moment to settle herself. This is exciting!

She waits for Maya to take her seat. ]

Ready?

I am one of those, I guess. My name is Angel.

[makeshiftwings]

[ Somewhere outside of the town- not to far, but a rather fair distance, there stands another one of those glowing trees. Pressed against the trunk by thick branches that may as well be more like vines, is poor little Angel. She's unconscious, but her tattoos are glowing, pulsing in time with the light of the tree. ]

[Once Maya settles into her seat, she nods.]

Ready. Hit it.

[ And hit it she does, literally stomping on the accelerator. (What, it's what she's seen everyone else do!) The craft goes lurching forward, and poor Angel is so surprised by this that she jerks the wheel to one side. What was that about a wild, veering hovercraft? ]

[Maya would take the time to contemplate how the laws of physics did not initially toss her out of the vehicle if she wasn't currently trying to hold onto the railing, while the hovercraft veers off sharply in one direction. A direction it continues in, so they're pretty much going in one really fast, really small circle.

Good thing she had a small lunch.]

Don't hit it so hard!

[It's just a tree. What does a tank have to worry about from a tree? So he steps forward, touching one of the branches with a curious fingertip.]
