And another one of these!

General musebox post is go! ... Again!

Comment here with a location in the subject line (The Thor, some alien planet, Pandora, etc). You can come up with a scenario or leave your comment blank and I'll do that for you!

It... would appear that all of our energon problems have... been solved.

[How could an organic planet produce energon in this manner? It doesn't make any sense.]

[And if there's one thing he can't stand, it's things that don't make sense. But the energy readings are accurate...]

[Like any good idiot scientist, he reaches out to touch one cube.]

It shouldn't. By all rights, all laws of natural order, and physics, this shouldn't be possible.

[So... what happens if he tries to remove it from the tree. Surely the illusion vanishes then.]

That's alright. Just be careful where you aim it; I've got a pretty hard head but it's pretty crowded here and there are a lot of kids.

There's a park not too far away, if you wanna practice there.

[Maya is kind enough to not point out the fact that Angel does look a little anxious as they recklessly ride through the terrain, even though it honestly isn't that difficult to tell. She turns her attention back to steering, but still speaking loud enough for her to hear.]

Maybe, but it sure would take longer for us to get there -- and besides, it doesn't seem as if the wildlife is all that friendly, anyway. So what's the loss?

And what's it like? Not having to just watch any more?

Good to hear. [The statement's a little ironic, considering a world was "traded" (or blown up) to get to this point. To arrive on the Thor. But she's not going to wax philosophical on it -- a mental shrug and a mental "whatever" and she just moves on.]

Getting the chance to see what new planets offer, every single month? I don't see what most of these people are complaining about, really.

THOR

[This one (actual) angel has a tendency to hang around new arrivals, eager to help out anyone who seems like they need it.]

[Chihaya immediately zeroes in on Angel, and approaches slowly, careful not to alarm her]

Um, hello! Do you happen to need anything?

[He turns it over a few times in his hands.]

No. Energon does not appear naturally in such a state. It's impossible.

[Well. Only one thing to do. Test it. By refueling.]

I can't very well have you test it, can I? There's only one way to find out whether or not it's safe.

Careful. Psh. What is research without a bit of risk?

[But so far, let's see. It all seems to be perfectly normal.]

Seeing as I've yet to fall over dead... it seems safe enough.

If that were to occur, I'm capable of basic field repairs.

[He... picks it up in two fingers. Like it's something nasty.]

... molecular scanning doesn't pick up anything terribly harmful. I can't say what is and isn't safe for an organic being to consume, but it's composed entirely of organic carbon elements...

[Yes, Angel, it's safe.]

[No one is ever concerned for him, what is that.]

Well. Do take care. I'm not familiar with organic reconstruction.

... I take it from your continued functionality, your fuel is also safe for consumption?
