Ninja shenanigans

[ there are very few fights where Kasuga has found herself backed - no, slammed into a corner, and she's loath to admit it, but without Sasuke, she can't confidently say she would still be alive.

But she is, and he is, and although their opponent still lives, he's doing so at a safe distance-- far enough for Kasuga to dazedly drag herself up against a nearby tree and fumble for her medical kit. Sasuke-- she'd lost sight of him, and she leans back against the trunk with a ragged breath before she turns her head to see if she can spot him now. ]

[ she stirs slightly, mumbling a drowsy protest-- not that she's moving much. ]

[ He just gives a light chuckle, carrying her into her room and laying her down.

He crouches there a moment, brushing his fingers through her hair. ]

[ after a few seconds, she turns her head towards his touch, exhaling tiredly. ] Sasuke...

[ninjamom]

[ not what he expected! He blinks a couple of times ] Hm?

[pinupninja]

You should be resting... [ yeah, she's barely awake as is. ]

[ninjamom]

[ He threads his fingers through her hair again ] I'll rest, don't worry. Just go back to sleep.

[pinupninja]

Bossy...

[ but her eyes slide shut, and she falls back into a sleep that's more like being comatose than anything. ]

[ninjamom]

I know. I can't help it. [ He brushes her bangs aside and plants a light kiss on her forehead.

He'll rest, but he's not going far. He just moves across the room and props himself up against a wall, dozing off after a few minutes. ]
