[ once upon a time before a princess was a princess and a hero was a hero, they were wee young things living in the Destiny Islands. And one of these aforementioned wee young things is going to be hanging out on the BEST island. What is she doing, you may ask?

Hunting for seashells, of course! According to her new family, every shell's got a story, so she has to find all of them! So she's just up to her ankles in ocean and currently wading around, crouching down every so often to fish a shell out of the water.

Clearly she needs someone to interrupt her or she'll be at this all day. ]

[faceplants are just part of his extensive repertoire! the amount of flailing he's doing is pretty par the course for a 5 year old, but it's a wonder he hasn't accidentally thrown what's in his hand and apparently so important.]

[well, it's the coolest thing ever in Sora's opinion, anyway-- he opens his hand to show a giant, slimy slug he found scooching along one of the leaves by The Secret Place. it is wriggly and slimy and kind of looks like a living booger, which is probably why Sora likes it so much.]

[Sora learned the hard way from his last living booger friend that... living booger friends and seawater don't really mix well. so he stops short right at the shore, where the waves are little more than foam gathering at the tips of his shoes.]
