Chunks of concrete go flying, and Haru hesitates to go any closer. She hails from a magus family, of course, but this doesn't mean it makes her any less physically delicate.

It does, however, make her more aware of possible threats, which is why she narrowly sidesteps a bullet. There was no sound, no indication, but the shell lies gleaming on the pavement and Haru sucks in a quick breath as the one who fired it finally reveals himself.
