Admittedly, we're quite a rare breed.

[ She says it with a touch of pride, and beneath her touch, the injury at his side closes, leaving behind new skin tissue -- slightly pink and probably still sensitive. She moves to the slash across his chest, both hands still raised and fingers splayed. ]

Rarer still are those, like myself, who have trained their abilities to the fullest. Some have the capacity for healing, yes, but they lack the discipline to train themselves to heal more than flesh wounds. I, however, have studied medicine, have trained my gift, and if given the appropriate time to respond, I can pull someone back from the brink of death.

[ Myriad interjects, ] She's also quite modest.

[ The doctor doesn't respond, aside from an exasperated huff, before pulling her hands away. Much like the stab wound, the cut across Charlie's chest has knit together, the skin slightly puckered but no longer bleeding. ]

You may still feel a bit tender going into tomorrow, but that should do it. How do you feel?
