"More than I can say indeed," came the reply. Alabaster watched her as they walked - she seemed to be thinking of something. He couldn't fault her for that. If she was intent on getting him home, then he was more than content to allow her the time and space to suss things out. All this messing with time and place stuff seemed to be complicated - at least enough so that he didn't dare try to figure it out. No doubt undoing whatever had been done would be complicated as well, perhaps even more so.
